This is clearly a poor quality product. They have 'Sense On' technology, which is just a fancy way of saying that it should turn on when you step on it like any other scale, but this one doesn't seem to do that at all. Since I don't step on it (barefoot like the instructions suggest) it doesn't turn on. It only turns on when I press the little button on the back. I managed to connect it to my phone via bluetooth, but then I found that the accuracy is terrible. The range is over 15 pounds between samples if I place them on a flat hardwood floor and I stand on them, dead center in the same spot, without moving. I'm not sure if this unit is defective or just junk. The screen is also very cheap. You've chosen a model with a limited viewing angle, so if you turn your head a little, the numbers disappear. It looks like many corners have been cut in the design and production of this massive wrecked train.
