I needed a kitchen scale that I could just pack and take with me when I travel and this scale works great. It's small, weighs nothing and fits in my carry-on luggage. This isn't a scale I would use all the time because it's too small to fit a dinner plate on it and during cooking I often have to weigh food in batches, but they get the job done. It comes with two plastic trays to protect the scale. I use the larger of the two to weigh out small portions of small snacks: nuts, berries, etc. Works well.
