For those concerned that the probe is a few pounds cheaper, if you're paying around $4 for a probe, you're most likely not getting the most accurate readings. I usually prefer sizes that aren't as tall and have more limited reach, but the tires on my utility trailer weigh 100 pounds. So if it's a few pounds off I don't think it would be a problem...although it did agree with my inflation gauge. I love slime products and this is no exception as they are metal and have something in them. I would have preferred consistency in the gauge and so far it does and after putting 70 pounds in with the infiltrator gauge it showed all four tires at the same pressure. My little pancake compressor takes a long time to get to 100lbs so 70-80 will do unless I'm hauling a lot of rocks and then fill up before loading at the station because the nearest one is 40 miles away. I think it's asking a lot, unless you're paying a lot for a cheap pressure gauge that's 100% accurate, but if it reads a few pounds less than you think is right, add a few pounds more to to straighten it. Someone said their gauge read 31psi when they knew it was 35psi, so I just added 39psi and called it the same...because I keep my car tires in my garage with a compressor and all my lawn equipment in the shed with another fill.
