This is a weatherproof single color LED strip with fairly decent brightness. Everything is closed with a thick silicone band and well protected. This is something you can wrap around with handrails, poles or trees for outdoor decoration. Only the DC plug is not weatherproof and must therefore be sealed itself. It's just a strip, no power supply or controller. You have to install them yourself. If you want this light to be on all the time, you need a power supply. If you add a controller, you can dim the bar. It is said that light comes out from two sides, but in fact most light comes out from one end. The light is solid and you cannot see individual LEDs when it is on. Also, there is no glue on this strip, it's just silicone rubber on all sides. <update> I connected it to the lab power supply. PSU and found it draws about 2.1 amps at 12 volts (25 watts), not sure why the manufacturer recommends a 4 amp PSU, maybe it's conservative?
