My 1.5 year old girl can wear clothespins but has no idea about color coordinating or putting them on and taking a picture. My 3 year old niece enjoys playing with it and is good at matching the right colored pencils. I wish the clothespins came with a pocket to put them in. Clothespins and cards are placed in the compartment with the top yellow compartment on top. But I have to put the pens in a gallon size ziplock bag because I couldn't put them in a quart size bag and put the yellow tray on top. And since the yellow top tray doesn't snap to secure over the bottom tray, storage is an issue as the whole thing squirts out if dropped.
