I was very excited about this mount but it was a bit disappointing. Pros: The magnet is impressive and holds my Pixel 2XL with no issues. The arm is articulated so you can point it exactly where you want. The glue that comes with the kit is terrible. I cleaned and prepped the area it would stick to and it only took about 3 minutes (no phone) before it fell off. I used the second piece of tape that came with the kit and had the same problem. Took a little longer but still couldn't hold the phone. I had to go and buy 3M heavy duty double sided tape to stick to the dash. Again, it's not the most stable. When driving over bumps, the armrest vibrates quite a lot, causing the phone to wobble and be uncomfortable to look at. I find the base too narrow for a heavy phone. The tape comes off too easily. If it were square rather than rectangular I think it would be a lot sturdier. Overall: Check it out if you want. If you have a small phone it may be ok. It's not too expensive. I probably wouldn't suggest this to any of my friends/family because it cost extra money to make it work.
