We bought this rather disappointing (and expensive) Whirlpool dishwasher LAST YEAR and this is the second time I've exchanged this part. The original had cheap crappy plastic screws that broke after about a month of use. So I bought THIS version, which is said to be "upgraded" with metal screws. Great, isn't it? Except that the "upgraded" broke anyway; This time it wasn't a screw, but some cheap plastic with a screw attached. Hooray. Thing is, MOST of this dishwasher is made out of cheap, crappy plastic, and there are other parts inside that I'll probably have to replace in the not-too-distant future. And now I'm buying this part again because the alternative would be to buy another dishwasher which isn't crap and I don't have the money for that now. But you can bet it won't be a jacuzzi when I finally do.
