Due to a major vitrectomy eye surgery I'm about to undergo, I will need to sleep face-down for about 5 weeks after surgery, and it was recommended I use a massage table for sleep & resting in order to maintain the required face down recovery process. Setting up a comfortable way to sleep away from my normal bed has been a challenge. I was concerned I would not have ample blanket support and be uncomfortable. I searched for a "weighted blanket" thru retail & on-line stores. I decided on this product via Walmart based on the images and description. I have already tried it out, and it has exceeded my expectations. The quality is impeccable. One side has an incredibly soft sherpa-like feel to it and the other side has a very very soft luxurious velvety feel. The weight is perfect. I am now confident that I will be most comfortable for an extended recovery time.
