Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Your Soldering Experience with Toolour Helping Hands Third Hand by Darnell Murphy

But works fine. in Soldering Stations

The clamp is large enough to fit on most desks. (2β…œ" or 60 mm) All three (inside) sides of the clip have rubber for a secure grip. They also have rubber coated alligator clips to protect anything you're working with. They look removable. They're easy to handle and they seem to hold their position very well. I used a few things I had near my desk to check for arm sag under stress. I have a 3Β½" speaker (4, 7 ounces), a bottle of hand sanitizer (10.5 ounces), and a cup of Chewbacca (13.8 ounces). The speaker held up well, the sanitizer went down about Β½ inch, but it held up, but the cup was too much .Of course I only used one hand so I'm sure the results would be much better if multiple hands were used.MY ONLY PROBLEM with this would be the nylon screws that attach the levers to the metal base.I almost had that twisted front lever w during the installation (cf. rice.). This is too easy as you have to rotate the entire arm to attach it to the base. I would easily pay an extra dollar or two to have these metal screws. I gave it 5 stars because for the price ($14.99) it's a very handy tool. I would give 4.5 stars for the nylon bolts, but unless you remove the gun from the base very often I don't think this will be a problem.
