Very robust construction. Great product in every way. We were about 2.5 miles apart on a straight flat road and it was still nice and clean. Even through hills and curves you can still get about 1/2 mile or a little more. Using it on our overland trip was so much better and ten times more convenient than messing around with a phone. Don't leave home without them on any trip. I love the weather feature and also for a simple quick update on what changes can happen at the moment of notification when we see clouds rolling in it's nice to know if it's a big storm and if it's worth stopping for.
