Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Increased Horsepower Guarantee: Fits 2004-2005 FORD (F150, Lobo) 77-2557KP by Davon Clark

This is the first K&N CAI I've ever bought and I didn't like it at all. It says it fits a 2004 F-150 and even came with a proper owner's manual with pictures of my exact truck, but none of them fit properly. I think the polished tube may have been bent incorrectly because when I put it on it was a good 2 inches from where it was supposed to point. I had to bend the heat shield that came with the kit as well as the portion of the wing where the heat shield attaches and the pipe mount to get it closer to the fitting. I then had to buy a longer rubber hose so I could bend the hose far enough to connect it. When I was finally able to straighten the pipe a bit, the air filter barely fit. I'm about half an inch from the wing. I have bought 2 other K&N kits for other cars and they fit perfectly but this one was terrible. For now I'm keeping it because of all the trouble I put into installing it, but if I have any problems with it I'll return it. Fit aside, it looks amazing in my truck and seems to give it a bit more horsepower/torque, but I haven't seen a huge increase in mpg yet.
