I bought this item to replace one that just died a few days ago. Installing it on my Pinzgauer 712M was extremely easy (you might have to look it up!), in part because the truck doesn't have any fancy fairings or trim to worry about. The 66-foot cable is more than enough, and the ability to mount three different mounts is a plus considering the car doesn't have a dashboard or easy mounting points. I've never been able to attach things to a windshield with a suction cup and I don't recommend it. The camera, monitor and cables appear to be well made. The switches are big enough for my big paws and easy to use even on bumpy roads. Caveat: It's only been running for a day and a half, but so far I'm happy. The instruction manual (which, like a lot of people, I don't pay much attention to) is pretty self-explanatory. It would have been better if the authors had the text checked by an editor who speaks fluent English, but there were no obvious errors or confusions in it. Another plus for me is that the system runs on 12-24 volts and the Pinzgauer is a 24 volt system so I didn't have to add the complexity of running an additional 12 volt system.
