Bought this to pack in a cargo trailer so I can keep an eye on my bike while cruising down the freeway. The picture quality on the monitor isn't great, but I can see if my bike is about to tip over, so it serves my purpose. If you're using them outside on a trailer or van, you'll certainly be able to see large objects, but don't expect a perfectly sharp image.

I installed this on a Bobcat skid steer because you can't see behind you. The U-shaped monitor arm easily mounts to the skylight frame, and the 7-inch monitor is the perfect size for getting in or out of the car. This will greatly simplify and simplify the work with the machine. I plugged it in so it's always on when the machine is running, but I can turn it off if I want it for some reason. I haven't tried it at night yet.

In an age when excellent customer support is sometimes unsatisfactory, Veclesus (particularly Vivian) have proven they can take it a step further. I should have installed one of these years ago. Got in and out of the truck so many times just to move it a few inches to hitch a trailer. The only thing I would have wished for was a fisheye lens. If I tilt it at an angle to the ball on the truck, don't take the hitch until it's within 2 feet. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to see the trailer a little earlier. I am very satisfied with this product. I installed it in my RV in about three hours. I have found the perfect spot in my van as this is the spot and 'pillars' where the taillights are hollow. I "fished" the supplied camera cable through these compartments, took the rear light chain directly by the rear light and led it together with the camera cable under the motorhome into the driver's cab. I bought this item to replace one that just died a few days ago. Installing it on my Pinzgauer 712M was extremely easy (you might have to look it up!), in part because the truck doesn't have any fancy fairings or trim to worry about. The 66-foot cable is more than enough, and the ability to mount three different mounts is a plus considering the car doesn't have a dashboard or easy mounting points. I've never been able to attach things to a windshield with a suction cup and I don't recommend it.
