I did a lot of research to look for a rear view camera for my school bus that I am converting into a tiny house. I chose it as it was within my budget and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. The cable is long enough to reach the back of a 40 foot school bus. I was also pleasantly surprised that they included a third mounting option that allowed me to bolt them on top of the windshield where the huge rear-view mirror was mounted. I figured I would have to make a mounting option to install it there. I also like the ability to add a second camera as I would like to mount it above the bus door so I can see the right side of my bus which is another important blind spot along with the back of the bus. Connecting was quick and easy. Maybe it's because I already disassembled the interior of the bus so I could just run the wires through the existing wiring harness. This thing offers a clean install and looks absolutely amazing. Haven't ridden it yet but now this camera lets me see clearly from behind and it works in the dark as advertised. I have a wide field of vision that is ideal as a replacement for the rear view mirror. We have sub-zero days and nights here in Minneapolis and the camera has no problem in this cold. The camera itself also comes with a small cover to keep snow and rain off the lens. I definitely recommend it to anyone building a school. It should work well for any other vehicle type as well.
