I bought a cheap Mongoose bike and it had terrible quality rotors which pulsed and pulsed when you held the brakes making braking extremely unsafe. I used them and the pulse completely disappeared. The front end doesn't last that much to be honest, but I still need to tweak it a bit. I am very happy with them. Update: after many rides they are definitely holding up better than when I first got them. Unfortunately, my brakes squeak like an old bus and are very noisy, but I haven't fixed the problem yet. I'm still glad I switched from useless and dangerous brakes to brakes that work, albeit noisy, which is maybe my fault.
