I was skeptical but worth a try for the price. The performance of these lamps is really good. These are headlights, not headlights, so don't expect them to be flashlights. Pros: Good light output Good battery life Reliable click and cover for the switch, so fairly waterproof Magnets are strong enough to hold the light if the metal is bare or rusty. Doesn't work well on curved or uneven metal surfaces. Cons: Doesn't look very durable. The LEDs and battery compartments are protected, but the entire flashlight is plastic. I wouldn't expect them to survive a 3 foot or more fall onto a hard surface. I have no intention of dropping them so this is just an opinion based on historical evidence of other items made in the same way. The handle is inconvenient for people with big hands to use, it's easier for me to just hold the light. Vifr has no problems and likes to use a pen. Generally a good choice for budget flashlights. Better than lamps that cost 5-6 times more. If there are no issues, I plan to get more for friends and family.
