Apparently it works on some but not on my MP 2008. There is a hint that some macros have overly puckered lips and tell us to pucker them. I couldn't get him to come up and do anything but frustrate, waste time, scrape aluminum shavings and shower. Not good. It seems to me that it doesn't allow for normal deviations and tolerances, and the cheap screws they supply stick out too much. The holes are not even sewn. If the plate were bent differently and the screw heads sat at the same height, it could work on all slides. Better yet, provide more screw holes instead of relying on two edges to slip under the rail. THIS leads to spacing issues. I see it as $10 for a dumb piece of aluminum with a semi-thought out design and minimal processing. If it works for you, that's good. For now, I prefer duct tape.
