I have a Garmin 45 DVR that uses this mount and it works great. I installed it on my last car but when I handed it in I forgot the magnet on the windshield. I ordered this replacement and (contrary to other reviews) it includes the magnet required for the windshield. Simply peel off the film from the adhesive, stick it on the windshield in the right place, press firmly for a few seconds, and then peel off the mount from the windshield. The mount will come off, but the adhesive and metal washer will separate from the mount and stay in place. You then simply insert the mount into the dashcam and attach the dashcam to the windshield, with the magnet remaining on the windshield by itself for 24 hours. So yes, this is exactly the replacement you are looking for, it comes with everything you need; You just can't see the plate because it's in the mount itself before you remove the adhesive.
