I was very skeptical about this product due to the price and when I received it I found it incredibly light and kind of crappy as it is mostly plastic. I originally put it on an Amazon recommended $20 mount. Now I have a $20 paperweight because I drilled an extra hole in it and obviously can't return it. I haven't had much luck with this mount and was disappointed. I actually tried screwing my old RCA antenna to it and just using a rotator (the rotator remote has a 10 foot range if you're lucky) but it didn't work. So I gave the antenna another chance. I screwed about 5 feet of 3/4 inch black 40 gauge iron gas hose to my old antenna mount and placed this antenna on top of it. Once I pointed it in the perfect direction I didn't move it and I had no reception. problems. I'm picking up every available channel in my area at 25. I live in North Dakota where it's always windy and the signal still doesn't interfere. Mog didn't cause any problems either. Can't say cold weather will break it as we've only had near 0 weather for about 2 weeks. Overall I used it for about a month and was satisfied.
