Review on KYB 565009 MonoMax Gas Shock by Chris Prix

I have a 1997 F-150 with over 200,000 miles and the rear shocks were factory. I never replaced them due to time constraints and the bolt was on the bottom of the truck bed. I was about to do another suspension repair and thought I'd bite the bullet and attack those rear shocks. I looked at several options and settled on KYB for price and compatibility. Once the repair was complete and I drove the truck on the miles of gravel road where I live, I immediately noticed a more stable ride on the back of the truck. Due to the rough surface, the rear of the truck was not thrown to one side as before. I am very satisfied with the handling by the KYB.
