Very disappointed with this purchase

I was very pleased with what I believe to be a new Hotfix Applicator and Accessory. However, I now assume that the product has been used before. This will be my second patch applicator. I immediately noticed that the tips of the stick were dirty. But the tips for my first applicator are still bright and shiny. Also, upon closer inspection, it turns out that one of the nozzles is burned around the tip, and the other is mangled along the edge. I am very disappointed and will not buy from DIY esseelove again.
