They are very durable and deter thieves. Nothing will stop professional thieves, but they work great for the average thief or kid. For the price compared to many other solutions this is very reasonable for a 10 foot length. We also bought MAGNUM longbar locks (all with the same key). Perfect solution. We use a $500 portable freezer/fridge with a 500W solar generator ($700) and a portable solar panel ($200) for any stationary object such as a concrete picnic table, wrought iron fence, etc . when we build up our stock and are off the site for any period of time. They work great when paired with separately purchased MAGNUM longbar locks. I would have no problem using these cables to lock my $2000 electric bike or any other tools or valuables. Again, neither a lock nor an alarm by itself will stop a professional thief. With the exception of professional thieves not focused on family camping, they will deter random thieves or mess makers and will really deter them from sneaking off your property. We also use Club products to provide extra protection and a lock down for some of the older classic cars that we also have. And their products, like the Club double lever steering wheel lock and these cables, are reliable for the price. Highly recommended.
