Great filter, average pump.
The filter works great, the small size is perfect for my ten gallons and it's a great filter to work with in the large tank for some extra good bacteria. The only thing that bothers me is the air hose and the backflow protection. The hose is very soft and bends easily, and the valve slows the airflow and makes the pump louder. I didn't use a valve but placed a pump over the tank to prevent backflow. I recommend buying tubing, pump and valve separately for best results. Overall a very good product for the price.
