Review on Teva Ankle Strap Hurricane Mustard Men's Shoes by John Butler

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The straps are incredibly short.

I ordered a size 8 and Amazon sent me a size 7. The sole fit me perfectly, but the Velcro straps were too short. If the straps were the right length I would have kept the sandals. I adjusted the sandal straps as long as possible and the Velcro contact area only touched about an inch, which is ridiculous. The area of the contact patch should be nearly the full length of the belt, maybe 5 inches. You can't wear them if only 1 inch of the Velcro is touching. The tension will be too high on that 1 inch instead of spreading 5 inches. The straps are likely to fail over time as the sandal's warranty expires. The straps are poor design and it's a deal killer. Teva needs to get back to the drawing board. These belts are intended for people suffering from anorexia.

Pros
  • Fast delivery and product as advertised
Cons
  • Expensive and inconvenient. If you have a wide foot none of these will fit you.
