I bought this because I'm too poor to buy a good bluetooth head unit for my cars. It was recommended to me by a friend who has some Malese era cars that he wants to keep as factory new as possible but still want some modern conveniences. The sound is just fantastic. The clarity is amazing. Surprisingly, it even has better volume than cassette or terrestrial radio, and by "better" I mean "louder". Oh my god, does that really make your factory sound system louder? Since getting this I've completely wrecked 3 speaker cones in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee and played everything from Scandinavian folk metal to Korean trap music. All in all, this is a fantastic article. On the other hand, the battery is very, very, very small. It can be 1/3-1/2 the size of an AAAA battery. It doesn't matter as it typically lasts around a week, but there aren't many warnings about when the battery will die. 3min max. Unfortunately, it cannot be charged while in use, so all you have to do is suffer the terrestrial radio until you charge it again. It charges very quickly, less than 45 minutes with a cheap charger in my experience, but the battery life could be better. A slightly larger battery, or perhaps a small dynamo that charges the battery while in use by the rotation of the cassette spool, would be a good direction for this. There is enough space inside the device to accommodate one or both. Overall, I like this Bluetooth cassette. If you're stubborn like me and don't want to bow to the modern electronics stuffed in your 80's or 90's box, then this is the add-on for you.
