The rest of the reviews on the winding noise are correct! My god it's a lot louder than my previous wired cassette adapters. I bought this brand as I had previously had another Bluetooth receiver from them and found the quality to be exclusive to what seems to be quite a niche market. I read online that most cassette players don't need gears inside. I took mine off and although the tape recorder's automatic alignment doesn't work, the gearless mechanism is silent and the sound is excellent.

I bought this to replace previously purchased Arsvita adapters that have failed twice (one lasted 3 weeks and the replacement took 6).
