I don't understand why some other reviewers say there is gear noise. Mine is completely silent. Maybe it was remodeled? Anyway, I have an old car that is perfect in every way except it doesn't have an extra entrance. I've tried wired cassette adapters before but they were noisy and now my phone doesn't have a headphone jack. Enter this Aluratek adapter. I didn't have the highest of expectations but am amazed at the sound quality. For real. To be honest I couldn't believe it came out of the CASSETTE! To be honest it sounded so good. I've read other reviews that say you have to remove the protective head cover etc. I did not do it. It's a good idea to put a thin piece of plastic between the two metal heads to keep them from scratching. Either way, it should work as long as you insert it right side up. Mine connected and reconnected quickly, I was expecting mediocre sound but I really couldn't believe what I was hearing was coming from my bluetooth phone to this adapter. I am very happy that I made this purchase.
