I bought an expensive stand mixer a while ago but rarely use it because it's so big it tucks away at the back of my empty closet. And when I need it, I don't feel like taking it out, so I just use a mixing fork. I finally decided to buy one of those old school hand mixers. I just wish I could save $150 and buy that first. They've come a long way over the years. Extremely powerful, super easy to use, amazingly compact, it's always in my sight when I need it. I'm really looking forward to making brownies and mashed potatoes myself, although I used to be terrified of doing it. Light, simple and easy to handle. Different nozzles are easily interchangeable. Very happy with this purchase!
