USB TYPE C Head to Short for use with any case.

The USB-C head is too short for me even with the thinnest OnePlus Original Nylon Case on my OnePlus 7 Pro phone. Now without the cover it works perfectly. I have provided an image comparing it to the Nekteck USB C OTG SD READER. As you can see in the picture, the Nekteck has a slightly longer USB-C head and this small difference is enough to get to and connect to my OnePlus 7 Pro. This disk can get very hot, it is made of metal. but it can get hot. not too hot but very warm. These USB-C OTG Micro SD card reader manufacturers need to lengthen the USB-C neck a bit to fit both thin and thick cases. Someone needs to make an adjustable USB-C head so we can use it with different sized cases. as most of us have different occasions. Also, stop making the plastic around the head of the USB-C plastic case so big as it really gets in the way of inserting the USB-C head. However, the USB-C heads need to be longer or more adjustable. I will keep the Kingston USB C OTG because I had to buy an adapter to make it work which cost me an additional $7.96 for 3.1 USB C to USB C. A thin adapter that no one would have to spend on an adapter just to use with a thin body. I would not recommend this product, it is not even suitable for thin cases. If you have a OnePlus 7 Pro. I would stay away from this Kingston TYPE C OTG MICRO SD card reader as you have to remove the case every time you want to use it. Use Nekteck but note that Nekteck only works with thin cases as most OTG-C readers only work with thin cases.
