Fast, up to 58 MB/sec writes what I see.

I don't have the fastest memory cards but I've seen up to 58MB/s. Gigastone 128 GB microSD, 55 MB/s continuous recording. Samsung 512 GB microSD, 47 MB/s seconds stable (@150F up to!). Getting hot! Both SD card and USB 3.x to SD conversion chip get warm. Don't touch when testing the speed! When checking temperatures, be sure to use the old emissivity trick (YES, REALLY!). Stick some magic tape, old matte "invisibility" tape, on the metal case. This increases the emissivity of metal cases to…

Pros
  • Compact and lightweight micro SD card reader
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It heats up and works no better than the USB 3.0 analog I have.

The first two photos show this item and the next two show a Nekteck counterpart (also purchased here from Revain) which first used the USB A connector and then one uses USB-C connector. And the microSDXC memory card used in all four tests was a Samsung EVO Select 512GB. There isn't much of a difference, except maybe in the third figure where the Nekteck shows a slightly faster sequential write speed. Incidentally, my top two memory card readers scored low 90s and high 70s in sequential…

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

Too big for a very compact solution, but an extremely useful gadget. If used in tandem with Samsung Evo flash drives of large volumes, this is where its cosmic power and characteristics are revealed. Pros: Amazing build quality of the device, extremely durable and solidly made, clearly working and at the same time delivering extremely high speeds. Has cons: Cap - seriously in 2022? The cap, also plastic, is also completely removable? It is easily lost and easily broken, in general, the cap has…

Boiling hot - do not touch!

Kingston Digital FCR-ML3C MobileLite Duo 3C, USB 3.1 + Type C, Microsd Card Reader, microSDHC/microSDXC (ASIN ‎B07416LQVM)Kingston make great products, but this isn't one of them. Reasonable transmission rates, but extremely dangerous for living organisms. Per ASTM C1055: Human skin will burn continuously after 5 seconds of contact with a 140°F surface. I measured a read/write temperature of over 137°F in less than a minute while writing data from my phone! So there are good reasons for a flash

  • Electronics

USB TYPE C Head to Short for use with any case.

The USB-C head is too short for me even with the thinnest OnePlus Original Nylon Case on my OnePlus 7 Pro phone. Now without the cover it works perfectly. I have provided an image comparing it to the Nekteck USB C OTG SD READER. As you can see in the picture, the Nekteck has a slightly longer USB-C head and this small difference is enough to get to and connect to my OnePlus 7 Pro. This disk can get very hot, it is made of metal. but it can get hot. not too hot but very warm. These USB-C OTG…
