I don't have the fastest memory cards but I've seen up to 58MB/s. Gigastone 128 GB microSD, 55 MB/s continuous recording. Samsung 512 GB microSD, 47 MB/s seconds stable (@150F up to!). Getting hot! Both SD card and USB 3.x to SD conversion chip get warm. Don't touch when testing the speed! When checking temperatures, be sure to use the old emissivity trick (YES, REALLY!). Stick some magic tape, old matte "invisibility" tape, on the metal case. This increases the emissivity of metal cases to 100% and your contactless thermal readers will work very well. Without tape it reads 50F cooler! I'm using an old Fluke 80T-IR/E. Now it smells hot, but nothing melts. The Speed Flash Tester is now cycling to read and the Samsung EVO 512GB has 85MB/s and has dropped from 5F to 145F.
