At 12 months my son learned how to open the bathroom door. Once inside, he either poured it all down the toilet or drank water from it! (tin!) I am "discoverer" and have been looking for the right door handle cover for days. I had to find something tough enough to keep the baby out but easy enough to let my 5 year old little girl in! I'm glad I chose the Kidco model! My son is 2 now and still hasn't figured it out so I'm back for more! I don't kid myself that this will work for a long time, but hopefully my now 6-year-old is strong and coordinated enough. In this case we can move on to a more complex model. I will say that it took my mom some time to figure it out! Long story short, these door handle covers are pretty cheap. I suggest you try them yourself. But they get an A from me! Update: About a month after I did this review, my 2 year old found out! They still get 5 starts from me for lasting over a year with me, but a review is useless if it's incomplete so I'll be back to tell future buyers the full story!
