Easy and simple to apply, even without instructions it is easy to find your way around by identifying the lamps for the side mirrors and the zippers for access to the driver's door. The cover fitted my 2014 RAV4 perfectly and I was able to unroll it from the front and stretch it over the car like a stretched sheet. The front elastic seam fits snugly into the front bumper and then I put the boot on and secured it under the rear bumper and then secured it from below with the front and rear adjustable snap-on straps. For security I attached the cable to the center sockets and routed it under the car, although the only downside was that the included padlock was tricky to install. Can't comment on the waterproofing yet as it hasn't rained yet, but I'll let you know if there are any comments.
