The purchase has a dual bearing on the result. 1) On the one hand, it functions faultlessly, fast, does not make any noise and does not vibrate, and it passes both the smart and the tests for "bads" without a single mistake. 2) On the other side, I was unable to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on it. I cheated time by two days. I tried three distinct distributions, one of which installed properly on my second broom; two of the distributions featured the most recent ates and builds of sata drivers. Not a single copy of Windows was installed since a blue screen with multiple faults appeared throughout the installation process. I really hope that this is just a case of mismatch between the new screw (and the motherboard; my computer is about four years old) and the older system, and not a problem with this particular type itself. While making a purchase, keep this in mind. I don't anticipate any issues with the installation of Windows 7 at all. A broom is used frequently in the production of games, music, and programming.
