1) We bought two of these cars and within hours, both of the steering wheels on the remote controls died. Kids were twisting the steering wheel too hard, causing bits of plastic to break off inside the remote. Yes the kids were being rough with them, but it is overly delicate and should be more durable (it is a kid's toy after all). So both cars ended up in the landfill within hours after opening them.2) You have to completely remove the battery from the car for charging. This requires a screwdriver to remove a very small screw. To add to the difficulty of removing the battery, the battery pigtail wire is way too short, making it difficult to disconnect the battery's connector. It would be much handier to have a charging port on the car itself.3) Battery life seems OK.
