Great FD/FL adapter for EOS R, works as it should

I have several FD lenses that I have used with MILC cameras (Canon M, Sony, Fuji) for a long time but have never had to use my digital ones EOS SLR cameras. That changed with my EOS R, so I quickly bought this adapter. I've used Fotasy FD adapters on the EOS M, Sony NEX and Fuji X, so I'm familiar with how to use them and the build quality is good. They have never had any quality issues, no real manufacturing defects, no chips or greasy residue from the manufacturing process, very good black finish, durable lettering etc. Lenses mount positively with little or no play, fine focusing to infinity and the price is attractive enough for you , Experiment with this if you're unsure about getting into vintage lenses, but also buy more than one to permanently stick with your favorite lenses, making lens switching a lot quicker. Caveat: There is a small quirk with these adapters, as the pin that tightens the lens diaphragm spring has its own "latch". /open": when you try to force the lens onto the adapter unless you are certain that the aperture stop ring is at the OPEN end of its range of travel. Otherwise the lens aperture lever will interfere with the small bolt that the adapter is used and if you try to roughly press the lens against the bayonet mount you can shear off the bolt which means that you pretty much ruin him adapter. In this case, it is very difficult to damage the lens, but you can "brick up" the adapter. These adapters have a small feature in that the pin that tensions the lens's diaphragm spring has its own "lock/open" ring. OPEN end of your range of motion. Otherwise, the lens's aperture lever will interfere with the little bolt the adapter uses, and if you try to roughly press the lens against the bayonet mount, you can shear off the bolt, which means you pretty much ruin the adapter.
