Excellent product. I used the tape version of this product and while it kept my cat from scratching my upholstered furniture, after a few months the tape started looking dirty. This nonstick product works well. Very high quality flexible plastic. There's ample padding, screw-in pins to keep it securely in place. It's also not as noticeable as I thought. I'd rather see slick plastic on my furniture than piles of tree stumps and cat damage. Anyone who has several scratching posts uses them, but still attacks my couch. This is a useful preventive measure. I ordered more after receiving my first batch. No, they are not cheap, but buying new furniture will cost more. You can easily trim them to fit.
