Review on Garmin Forerunner 210: Water Resistant GPS Watch (Multicolor), Heart Rate Monitor Excluded [Discontinued Model] by Jason Chaplain

Great watch but still big for a small wrist

I prefer to run to get exercise and can't call myself a runner as I don't like running or marathons. However, this watch does everything I want - measures distance, pace, laps, intervals, elevation, GPS, etc. The online portal is very easy to use and allows you to see progress, set goals, create maps and view actions. . The watch's charging port is different, but it's easy to figure out. I also bought a Garmin premium heart rate monitor for training zones and calories, and it's great for indoor use or non-running activities like tennis. . I really like them as a pair, but there are several downsides: 1. I have a small wrist and the face of this watch is quite large. I wear sports tape underneath, which helps. To be clear, there is no watch that really fits my small wrist, so I can live with the "trick" I invented. 2. Despite the big face, it doesn't show everything I want in one face. You can't see calories in real time, you have to wait to see them in "History". In my ideal world, I would see pace, calories, distance on a face and miss a lap.3. Given the large trees in my area, it takes about a minute to find a satellite. Once it blocks, everything is fine, so I should remember to start looking for a satellite while warming up, or leave it near the window while preparing. Overall I'm very happy I bought this and would recommend it to anyone in my "runner" category, I won't speak for marathon runners.
