The watch works fine except for the idiotic charging clip

When fully charged the watch works perfectly but unfortunately that is rare as the idiotic charging clip is used in place of the expected micro USB connector on a more or less normal electronic device. If the clip isn't perfectly aligned, or misaligned, or misaligned by a micron, the watch will stop charging and instead slowly drain the battery until it's time for the next start and you realize it's completely drained.

Go on! in GPS, viewfinder and accessories

I really like this watch! It's great to have for running and cycling, especially with the heart rate monitor which has really helped me increase my training results. I previously had a Forerunner 110, which is very similar, but I prefer the 210. The 210, unlike the 110, is pedometer compatible, so you'll still get good accurate readings indoors. Also, you have the option to set the intervals to 210, which was great! The only downside is the size of the watch, but it's still a lot smaller than…

Great watch but still big for a small wrist

I prefer to run to get exercise and can't call myself a runner as I don't like running or marathons. However, this watch does everything I want - measures distance, pace, laps, intervals, elevation, GPS, etc. The online portal is very easy to use and allows you to see progress, set goals, create maps and view actions. . The watch's charging port is different, but it's easy to figure out. I also bought a Garmin premium heart rate monitor for training zones and calories, and it's great for indoor

Absolute dead end! good for sporty and portable gps

This is the second Garmin I have bought and I am very disappointed with this model. My first Garmin lasted a few years and I felt it was time for an upgrade. I bought it to track some of my longer runs and the battery lasts 6 hours. I was disappointed with the short battery life and the difficulty in getting four contacts together (just right) for charging. Often the flimsy connection breaks as soon as you put the watch down and you have to fiddle with it to start charging again. To top it off,

I like it but Garmin is still too proprietary for regular iOS apps

The watch is comfortable and easy to use. The GPS function is very accurate and much better than what my iPhone 5S logs for my workouts. However, the Garmin hardware is quite proprietary and doesn't work well with other applications. If you want to sync data to iPhone directly, you can't use this watch. You have to sync it with a clumsy USB adapter clip that can't stay in place when connected to the phone, and Garmin's website for syncing and downloading the required computer apps is very…

Great watch with GPS! - Working GPS navigators

I started out on a Garmin 10 and while I thought the watch was great, I was disappointed that it only gave me the current pace and not the average pace for a mile . While it may not matter that much to some, I was training for my first half marathon and was concerned with how fast I averaged a mile, not how fast I'm running now. Also, I wanted to add a heart rate monitor and 10 is not compatible. After doing some research and speaking directly to Garmin, I bought the 210 along with the heart…
