Review on Foluu Keyboard Wireless Detachable Magnetic Tablet Accessories for Bags, Cases & Sleeves by Roberto Tucker

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good ideas with bad execution.

I needed this to make it easier for me to take notes on my tablet at university. I like the overall design, but I think the keyboard is implemented poorly. Undoubtedly everything is nice there, both the trackpad and the backlight. But the whole thing is not very good. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as Samsung's official case, but even at $50 I definitely expected it to be a lot better than this one. There are some flexible keyboards that will surely annoy some users. However, the worst thing about this keyboard is how easy it is to accidentally tap the touchpad and your words will be placed on a different part of the page. This can put you in an awkward position if you're writing or typing much slower than usual. I can't type fast but this problem still bothers me. I don't like that no other solution can be found to prevent the keyboard from touching the trackpad. I feel that this can be damaging and defeats the purpose of this case. There are four tiny rubber feet on the side of the keyboard, but I don't think they will prevent damage. The magnet on the back is also too weak to close the case and doesn't even work when the S Pen is connected to the tablet. You can force it to lock the screen, but that won't close the case for sure. Overall, I don't think this case is worth the price and I'm wondering if it's even worth keeping. PS, as a final test, I wrote this review on this case and many of the issues described have occurred. Not impressed at all. Maybe even a star. Consider this rating one and a half stars.
