Review on 🔧 Huepar Level 360°: Advanced Three Plane Self-Leveling Tool with Enhanced Connectivity by Jack Ford

Incredible value, incredible tool

I bought this laser to use in building a new house. I am a former general contractor and know the industry, but have not been actively involved in construction since 2008 and a lot has changed since then. I was hesitant to buy a new laser as the previous laser I bought in 2007 didn't impress me (and modern big brand lasers can be quite expensive). I risked the Uepar and couldn't be happier. Not only was the price of the laser and receiver reasonable, the quality and performance were exceptional and made the build process MUCH smoother. The height adjustment on site was very helpful. We have been using the laser almost daily for 2 months with no problems. We run the laser about 6 hours a day and only charge it once a week. We use an energy-saving pulse mode because we mainly use a laser with a receiver. A 360 x 3 line laser is a game changer. We used the vertical lasers to find the building on the site and we used the horizontal laser to keep everything perfectly level. We also used a laser when digging trenches for the plumbing to make sure our camber was correct. This proved to be much quicker and easier than line levels/crossovers etc. We used the laser in bright sunlight and found it difficult to see the laser with the naked eye. In 99% of cases, however, the receiver turned out to be the ideal solution. I will say that we decided to do it after dark when we were going to furnish the house. It was extremely helpful to see perfectly perpendicular lines drawn across the site. However, as this particular project progresses and leveling tasks shift indoors, I expect the laser to perform much better in terms of naked eye visibility. When concreting, the laser accidentally fell over from the tripod. He fell about 4 feet onto a hard concrete slab. Unfortunately, that fall knocked the laser out of alignment along one axis. I took the laser apart to see if there was an obvious problem (there wasn't) and was very impressed with its design. The laser has become such an integral part of our workflow that I was happy to purchase a replacement. However, before purchasing a second device, I decided to contact Huepar to see if they could help me recalibrate the original device. Their customer service team was quick and incredibly helpful. Although the laser could not be recalibrated, Huepar provided us with a replacement under warranty even though the problem was 100% our fault. Lessons Learned: 1. The 360 x 3 laser with receiver is a game changer in design and worth every penny.2. Although not an easily recognizable brand, Huepar makes products of excellent quality3. Huepar's customer service is as good as it gets. If you are looking for a laser I will definitely consider this device.

Pros
  • ✔️BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY. With Bluetooth connectivity, users can control the laser setting from anywhere in the room using a smartphone and the Huepar app. The Huepar app is free to download and use. The application can turn laser lines and pulses on and off, select laser planes, adjust line visibility and generate an out-of-level alarm.
