Review on πŸ”Œ Double the Power: 1 to 2 Car Cigarette Lighter Splitter Adapter - 12V 24V 2-Way Y Adapter Socket with 15A Fuse by Brian Dildine

An open letter to the manufacturer is almost a success except for one fatal error

This is very well done but has one fatal error that is easy to fix (for the manufacturer). I've read reviews that said the fork is too long and the fork doesn't hold up well because of it. The connector definitely can't grip, but that's not because of its length. The reason is the spring under the fuse. The spring has such force that it pushes the plug out of the cigarette lighter socket. The solution is simple. The manufacturer must use a spring with slightly less mechanical resistance. Alternatively, they can add additional resistance by adding more lugs to provide frictional resistance. (Some plugs have four semi-circular strips on the outer structure instead of two, but that would be a more expensive solution.) If you're reading this and think the updated version fixes the problem inside, it doesn't. I have an updated version and it won't stay even for a short time. (This is the case when the car is stationary, not to mention the movement and possibly the impact. Also note that my car has an upward-facing cigarette lighter socket to allow gravity to hold the plug. I could speak to the manufacturer directly , because this adapter is well made of thick wire and has a huge potential, it just needs to be tuned (I also have another suggestion for improvement, but that's enough for now.
