This stand definitely gets the job done! It's pretty sturdy and it goes up higher than I expected. It is a little louder than I expected to assemble/deassemble so when I bring it places I have to be aware of that. One thing is that the metal does not have something on the bottom to make it move easier. Because of that, when I move it on my desk it does not slide easily and can scratch wood. I had some small circular pads that I glued onto the bottom of the stand and now it works perfectly though.
