Review on Smoke Contigo Autospout Ashland 32oz Water Bottle by Matthew Kocur

There's a little black valve that should open when you open the mouth spout, but it doesn't really work so you have to fight the vacuum that's there occurs when you draw water from a straw that hurts to drink, and when you stop, air rushes through the mouthpiece into the bottle and bubbles up at the bottom of the straw. If I had known it was like this I would not have bought it. It actively fights you when you drink from it, making it difficult to drink and even deterring from using, which is particularly annoying when you're buying it to ensure you're drinking enough water a day. I ended up removing the black rubber part of the valve and now it works fine except that if I knock it over the drip slows down. Kind of a waste of money for something other than sitting at a table or in a cup holder in a car.
