and even better I paid half the price I would have paid if I bought it from a local Ford dealer. After pulling out the bad one, I took a closer look at the parts next to it and they are identical. There is a date code on the side of the drive I think. If actually my old one was from 2002 and the one I got from the end of 2015. My guess is that the same part is used in dozens of Ford models, if not different automakers. I changed this on the 2009 escape and this is the simplest solution. Remove the back panel from the inside, unclip 2 cables and remove 3 screws and a connector. Now I'm going to learn to fix the part myself so I can take the same from everyone to fix them even cheaperπ
