I bought this phone to replace my elderly dad. He's in a nursing home and in quarantine. So unfortunately I don't have any money because I can come to the place to repackage and send it back. First, my father has no hearing problems. I chose this phone for the large buttons and not for the amplified sound. But my dad can't hear anyone on this phone. There's a lot of background noise and hiss that wasn't there when using the same phone jack in the same room. All I can say is that this particular product should be avoided as my dad is deaf and has no hearing issues if you really need the amplification help this phone claims to have.
