Great compact inexpensive laptop travel bag

I've only had the bag a few days so these are my first impressions. Durability: Everything is firmly sewn and secured. The zippers close easily and are of good quality. The shoulder strap mounts are plastic and stiff and can be a weak point, but they don't feel cheap. QUALITY: The grips have a rubberized hand area that prevents the seams from cutting into your hand. No loose threads or wavy seams. The outer part is made of dense, durable fabric. It's a padded sleeve so don't expect miracles, but it should protect your laptop and tablet from most minor bumps and dents in everyday use. Organization: The main compartment is perfect for my 15.6 inch widescreen laptop. One of my requests was that there was no divider or strap to hold the laptop in place and this holds the laptop tight enough that it wasn't needed. The tablet pocket at the front of the laptop compartment is designed for a 10" tablet, but it's thin enough to fit my 7" tablet quite comfortably in the slim sleeve. Using it can be a little relaxing, but if you have a full-blown 10-inch tablet with a bulky body, you might find it difficult to fit the tablet inside. The dividers in the front compartment are also quite tight. On the back of the compartment is a zippered document pocket that can hold whatever you keep there right in front of your tablet. So stick to the printed word, not your screw collection. The entire front chamber opens almost completely, giving you easy access to things at the bottom of the compartment, which is nice. The outside area is big enough to fit bulkier items like a laptop power bank, but if you like traveling strong like me, you definitely need an extra pocket. Considering I bought it almost entirely to store my laptop and charger and to carry to and from meetings, it's perfect for my needs. If you need more storage space, I would definitely go for a larger suitcase. All in all, this is a great compact laptop bag. It's big enough for your essentials and perfect for your 15.6 inch widescreen laptop. It's durable and not too expensive. If that's what you're looking for in a soft shell briefcase, then this is it. It's beautiful and durable and has held up well to my light use. I have an addition that I found: the back of the briefcase is sturdy and flat enough to double as a mouse pad or laptop tray in an emergency. This works well when I don't have something flat or strong to support my laptop or when I need a knee pad. I'm very happy with this portfolio, especially considering the price. When it finally wears out I'll get another one just like that.
