I like the thing very much. I live in an apartment with a huge west-facing window. I love the window, but in summer the midday sun just bakes my apartment. The window consists of 4 large glasses in a square. I put this film on the bottom two glasses as a test. Once it is in stock I will be buying another roll to do the top two windows and hopefully get rid of the curtains. I hated curtains; I want a fully open window. Installation was easy, but not easy. Foil is difficult to cut, so make sure you have sharp new blades to cut through. If possible, run your razor blade all over the window as well to remove everything from the window. I did not do it. I didn't have a straight blade at the time of installation and rented one so I'm not overly concerned that it's absolutely perfect. I bought the brown tinted version to match my exposed brick and it actually hides imperfections very well. Another thing is that it is almost impossible to cut the film and stick it to the edge of the window. In some places I have everything perfect, but in other places there are gaps. I can take a tube of black caulk and smear it where the film meets the edge of the window just to tidy things up. All in all I would definitely recommend it. I have emailed the seller to see when it will be back in stock but have not received a date. I hope soon. I really want to knock out the rest of the windows.
