Review on Enhanced Extech 42570 Laser Infrared Thermometer by Macaiah Arreola
Great for high temperatures
I used this on a small iron smelting furnace to measure the temperature inside. Extek works great. It features a continuous scan mode that makes it easier to find hotspots and has an area large enough for you to take measurements without getting too close.
- High distance to target ratio of 50:1 measures smaller surface area at longer distances
