I've been waiting for this product. Black watercolor paper.
Watercolor paper that dries evenly. Very strong paper. Nice texture. Unlike the usual cold-pressed 140. The portrait sketch was begun with a light, non-detailed, water-soluble Swiss chalk. Then a small coat of metallic watercolor...let it dry, and it dried flat, with no fasteners. Then color the layers with colored pencils. I plan to do the next portrait the same way, using more water with each step. Possibly flowery. Learning new techniques helps someone like me (who's been doing this for a long time :) not to give up. It is a pleasure to work with black paper.
- LIFTING technique holds well (wet brush to remove or "lift" paint); Perfect MIXING of colors (color blends well and doesn't dry quickly)
